Retail Warehouse / Order Filler - Denali National Park / Doyon Joint Venture

About the role

The Retail Warehouse Order Filler is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing merchandise for shipment or transfer according to customer orders, sales slips, or other instructions. This role ensures timely and precise fulfillment of orders without the use of forklifts, focusing on manual handling and organization of goods.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack finished goods from inventory based on order specifications.
• Verify accuracy of items selected and ensure proper packaging for shipment or transfer.
• Performs transfers or products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
• Receives products and merchandise, checks for quality and damage to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise.
• Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures.
• Maintains security of company assets.
• Fulfills other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
