Retail Warehouse Lead

Solitude is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee retail warehouse operations, including organizing and maintaining the warehouse, receiving product, and collaborating with buyers. Requirements

• 1 year of retail and retail POS experience, preferably within the outdoor industry
• Basic accounting experience, including analyzing, summarizing, and reporting transactions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong attention to detail while receiving and transferring products
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, management, and shared services verbally and in writing
• Ability to manage a large workload during pre-season, holiday periods, and busy times
• Experience working with shared services teams on ordering, inventory, receiving, and POS systems
• Working knowledge of products and trends within retail outlets and the industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Capable of squatting, bending, stooping, standing for long periods, working in varying weather conditions, and lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Supervise the warehouse, ensuring it is organized and meets safety requirements
• Assist in maintaining and administering operational and administrative expectations by following company policies and guidelines
• Maintain and model high retail, merchandising, and cleanliness standards as set by the Retail Manager and VP of Recreational Services
• Assist the Retail Manager to ensure sales are generated while demonstrating and maintaining an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest service
• Manage inventory control by receiving orders in a timely manner and restocking stores to meet or exceed goals
• Enforce company cash handling and other Loss Prevention policies and procedures
• Stay current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products
• Communicate ideas and issues with the Retail Manager to ensure smooth business operations
• Fulfill manager-on-duty responsibilities by interacting with retail staff regularly
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees in MI9 and product knowledge
• Ensure staff always follow safety standards, company values and ethics, and provide the highest level of guest service
• Motivate and encourage employees to increase sales, units per transaction, and transaction size
• Other duties as assigned
