Responsibilities
- Develop relationship with existing customers to service their new and used truck purchasing needs.
- Ensure the customer is being serviced properly by all departments of Bentley Truck Services.
- Identify prospects in the assigned area of responsibility and conquer them.
- Plan and organize an effective weekly action plan to contact existing accounts as well as prospects.
- Assemble quotations for customers based on the specific needs of their application, working with the various vendors and OEM manufacturers.
- Follow the company profitability goals and market share goals while assembling proposals to customers.
- Effectively communicate with management about competitive situations as they arise.
- Participate in sales functions as required by the management for the overall promotion of Bentley Truck Services.
- Update and input sales calls into the CRM system in place.
- Update all daily activity and customer contact.
- Cross-sell and promote the related products and services offered by Bentley Truck Services and report market information to the appropriate manager in a timely manner.
- Participate in OEM Training as required by each brand represented by Bentley Truck Services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years retail truck sales experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or Associates with 5+ years experience.
- Very strong customer service and sales skills.
- Able to travel to customer and prospect locations.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass background check, drug screen, and future random drug screens.
- Strong organization skills and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
- Strong compliance knowledge in the industry.
