Retail Territory Manager

As a Retail Territory Manager, you’ll drive in-store success through world-class Direct Store Delivery (DSD) execution, bringing beloved brands to life on shelves across your territory. This role blends strategy, agility, and people skills to energize your territory and maximize snack sales.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets by unlocking growth across assigned accounts using retail selling methodologies and customer plans.
• Manage and inspire a team of full-time and part-time Merchandisers, including hiring, coaching, and performance development.
• Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in-store.
• Provide expert, on-site sales consultation to customers, securing incremental opportunities and executing HQ programs.
• Tailor data-driven sales strategies to store demographics and customer needs to fuel territory expansion.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with store personnel to identify opportunities and deliver top-tier service.
• Strategically deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales volume.
• Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management in collaboration with Full-Time Order Writers (FTOWs).
• Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships and drive results.
• Operate within Mondelēz International’s safety and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree highly preferred.
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• 3-5 years of selling experience with a strong sales background and excellent understanding of business processes and systems.
• Ability to perform physical activities (frequent lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, etc.).
• Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check.
• Must be located within 40 miles of specified cities: Eau Claire, WI; Chippewa Falls, WI; Altoona, WI; Menomonie, WI; Minocqua, WI; Phillips, WI; Rice Lake, WI; Hayward, WI; Ladysmith, WI.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $56,200 to $77,275, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. This role is also eligible for a highly competitive bonus program with overachievement potential based on performance and company results.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule required, including weekends and holidays. A company vehicle, gas card, and vehicle maintenance program are provided.
