Primary Responsibility
Aid store management with the execution of daily store operations, excluding personnel issues.
Job Functions
- Assist with general operations, including merchandise acquisition, display, and sale.
- Manage inventory and pricing.
- Create and submit sales reports and maintain accurate retail information.
- Oversee personnel, clients, and volunteers.
- Train staff and enforce store procedures and policies.
- Maintain store grounds and facilities.
- Report maintenance needs and recommend replacements.
- Ensure security and loss prevention measures are in place.
- Adhere to OSHA/MIOSHA and GIWM safety regulations.
- Perform job functions of a Lead Cashier and Retail Associate, as needed.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year experience in retail operations required.
Work Conditions
- Inside work generally 100%.
- Occasional outside work.
- Moderate emotional effort.
- Occasional high stress.
- Short deadlines requiring some overtime.
- Weekends and holidays required.
- Available and on-call for emergency situations.
- Use of personal vehicle for agency business.
- Some travel required for off-site meetings and coverage at other stores.
