Retail Team Lead (FT)
About the role
New Balance seeks full-time Retail Team Leads to join its dynamic Retail Leadership Team. This position requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive environment and driving results.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies
- Communicate and coach professionally with all associates
- Drive results by training and developing associates
- Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model
- Operate effectively by opening/closing the store, managing inventory, and adhering to operational procedures
- Engage in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent
- Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
Requirements for Success
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Two years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance if necessary
- Able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders occasionally, and climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)
Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $27.75 hourly, with actual base pay varying based on experience, time in role, and other factors.
