Retail Support Merchandiser
About the Role
Winston Retail is looking for motivated, detail-oriented retail professionals who thrive in both relationship-building and hands-on merchandising environments. This role combines ongoing store support with project-based merchandising initiatives, giving you the opportunity to make a direct impact on the customer's experience while representing leading retail brands. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working independently, building strong partnerships with store teams, and executing merchandising projects with accuracy and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation
- Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision and attention to detail
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates
- Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards
- Complete store visit reports, including photos and detailed feedback, using mobile reporting tools
- Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates
- Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are completed on time
- Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments
- Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed

Qualifications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organization, time management, and accountability
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for merchandising and visual presentation
- Comfortable using smartphones, handheld devices, and reporting applications
- Adaptable and flexible in a changing retail environment
- Results-driven with a commitment to delivering exceptional execution and customer experiences
- Experience in retail, merchandising, or consumer packaged goods preferred
- Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
- Planogram experience is a plus
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the retail environment for extended periods
- Frequent lifting/carrying up to 35 lbs
- Ability to lift objects and products up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Ability to move merchandise, fixtures, and displays as required
- Comfortable working in a variety of retail store environments
- Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time
- Smartphones are required for reporting:
- iOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
- Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
Pay
$16-$18 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)

Schedule
Monday-Friday (weekends optional). Hours vary per project.
