Role Overview
The Retail Supervisor plays a critical role in the store and/or venue, assisting the leadership team with creating the ultimate game day and fan experience by leading the front-line part-time retail team. Operating on a full-time schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and extended hours on game days and during events, the Retail Supervisor drives results through coaching and operational excellence, with home game shifts — including pre-game, in-game, and post-game support — considered a core responsibility of the position.

- Partner with the store and venue leadership team to align on operational priorities, revenue targets, and fan experience standards.
- Communicate expectations for assignments and projects clearly to the part-time retail team, including Retail Associates and Retail Leads.
- Provide training, coaching, and ongoing development to the part-time retail team based on observed job performance and operational excellence standards.
- Encourage and model Fanatics values, fostering a culture of accountability, enthusiasm, and championship-level performance.

- Drive sales results through consistent execution of daily operations, including supporting back-of-house operations and maintaining stockroom organization.
- Work with Retail Associates to ensure an exemplary fan experience at every touchpoint across the store and/or venue.
- Make recommendations to the leadership team on key performance indicators including revenue targets, per cap, and UPT (units per transaction).

- Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures and cash handling, with a high degree of accountability and professionalism.
- Balance, prioritize, and delegate multiple projects and operational tasks simultaneously while remaining calm and decisive under pressure.
- Represent Fanatics, league, and team values and standards consistently across all aspects of the role, serving as a visible and trusted leader on the floor.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail, customer service, or hospitality experience required, with prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop front-line retail teams, communicate expectations clearly, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
- Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills; ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable learning and using retail technology and digital tools including POS, inventory, and scheduling systems; adapts quickly to new systems and processes.
- Ability to serve as Manager on Duty, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling; must be eligible to pass a background check.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move stock as needed; possesses a fun, outgoing, confident, and professional demeanor that reflects Fanatics and league/team values.
Education
- Relevant degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
