Retail Store Team Member

About the role

Mullins Cheese is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented, eager-to-work individual to work in our Retail Store. We are a family-owned and operated company that values growth and advancement, offering opportunities for career development within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bulk orders for customers and patron orders.
• Aid with special customer orders and requests.
• Cash registers
• Product stocking
• Food preparation and cooking
• Monitor and control machinery for filling, packaging, vacuum sealing, sorting, labeling, and pricing cheese and whey products.
• Aid other employees to maintain a safe process and quality product.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Schedule Requirements: Open Sundays (9am-5pm), Monday-Saturday (8am-5pm). Work hours are 7am-5:30pm, 5 days a week.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent twisting, bending, and squatting with a 50lb object in hand; long periods of standing and walking; good finger/hand/multi-limb dexterity.
• Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a retail or customer service setting; willing and able to perform all job essential functions with or without accommodation; willing and able to be exposed to/perform all physical and environmental factors.

Benefits

• Wage: Starting pay is $16.50 per hour or more depending on experience. Sunday pay is 1.5x per hour, Saturday shift premium is $3/hr.
