This role primarily supports The Coca-Cola Store stockroom at The World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta. The Shipper/Receiver functions in the stockroom, performing general duties and assisting with replenishing the sales floor.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, fulfill orders, and document inventory.
  • Inspect orders, stock, stage, and transport merchandise between the stockroom and sales floor.
  • Support store management by overseeing stockroom operations when management is not present.
  • Serve as a knowledge source for merchandise, stock, and inventory levels.
  • Complete guest and World of Coca-Cola shipping accurately and on time.
  • Receive and unload merchandise, fixtures, furniture, equipment, beverages, and supplies.
  • Distribute merchandise and supplies to appropriate storage areas.
  • Maintain adequate on-hand inventory levels.
  • Participate in bi-annual inventory and perform scheduled cycle counts.
  • Process paperwork, including transfer reports, tickets, MOS, shipping logs, and discrepancy reports.
  • Place and process daily orders within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Complete price changes and ticket merchandise before staging on the sales floor.
  • Organize storage areas for maximum efficiency, including up stocks.
  • Respond to email communication from partners promptly.
  • Assist with weekly key item walks and follow-up procedures.
  • Provide direction to others and follow up to ensure timely execution.
  • Ensure store procedures for stockroom standards and safety are followed.
  • Maintain stock of key items and top sellers throughout the business day.
  • Follow plan-o-grams set by planners and the merchandise manager.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with partners, managers, visual teams, planners, and other retail locations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in operating PCs and business-related programs for inventory control and receiving (e.g., MS Word, Excel, WinRetail).
  • Ability to prepare accurate merchandise orders.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate equipment such as hydraulic jacks, hand trucks, ladders, tape guns, glue guns, box cutters, and shrink wrap machines.
  • Effective communication with guests, management, and team members.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and adapting to changing work demands.
  • Frequent stooping, standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and use of repetitive motions.

Pay

Starting at $15/hr. Base pay range: $32,831 – $37,023 USD per year, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs, including the ability to adapt to changing conditions and multiple work demands.
