Store Manager Competencies/Responsibilities
- Buils a Great Team – Develops high performing teams that exceed customer expectations. Recruits the best talent for the store and ensures all team members have the knowledge and tools for success. Assesses store team members capabilities, gives ‘on the spot’ constructive and straight forward feedback regarding performance, and continuously develops others. Treats team members with respect and dignity.
- Sets Clear Direction – Establishes and communicates a clear vision to the team. Champions company vision/goals and motivates the team effectively. Creates winning and measureable strategies for the team and effectively manages between short and long term goals.
- Drives the Business – Creates new approaches to increase sales and profitability by identifying opportunities and acting quickly to address them. Consistently monitors store and team member performance, analyzes and understands the causes of sales trends, and initiates change with creative ideas. Is a champion of change!
- Led with Passion – Works well with others and drives teamwork within the store/district. Engages and motivates team members with energy/optimism, through company vision and “big picture” thinking, and creates and champions ‘buy in’ of company goals and objectives. Promotes leadership at all levels.
- Influence and Inspire – Creates a positive, enthusiastic working culture within the team. Gives clear, concise expectations and is able to give ongoing constructive feedback in order to motivate team members. Consistently works towards understanding what motivates others, leads by example, and recognizes and rewards outstanding performance.
- Act with Integrity Always – Demonstrates a “promise what you will do, then do what you promise” mentality. Exhibits integrity in all words and actions and acts with care and compassion. Builds trust by delivering on all commitments and is viewed as a trusted leader of the team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail leadership experience
- Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use computerized point of sale system, SAP experience preferred
- Must be able to work weekends as availability guidelines require
- 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED, preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift
- A Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required

Salary Range
| From: $25.90 | To: $28.80 |
