Retail Store Manager

About the role

SalonCentric, a subsidiary of L’Oréal USA, is the premiere wholesale distributor in the United States of the finest salon professional beauty brands. We’re seeking a Retail Store Manager to build and lead a high-performing team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a creative and fun retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing store team by recruiting top talent, providing ongoing training, and delivering constructive feedback to ensure success.
• Establish and communicate a clear vision for the team, aligning with company goals and motivating the team to exceed customer expectations.
• Drive sales and profitability by identifying opportunities, monitoring performance, and implementing creative strategies to address trends.
• Lead with passion, fostering teamwork, engagement, and a positive working culture while promoting leadership at all levels.
• Inspire and influence the team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and recognizing outstanding performance.
• Act with integrity, building trust through consistent actions and delivering on commitments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use a computerized point-of-sale system (SAP experience preferred).
• Must be able to work weekends as required by availability guidelines.
• 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent GED (preferred).
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand/walk throughout the scheduled shift.
• A Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis (no immigration support/sponsorship offered).

Pay

Salary range: $25.90 – $28.80 per hour.
