About the role

A Retail Store Manager at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet leads the successful operation of the entire store, ensuring that all sales and profit goals are met. This role involves managing payroll budgets, expenses, and store banking, while also focusing on reducing shrinkage and aligning with company strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial oversight of sales and profit goals, including management of payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, and shrink reduction.
• Demonstrates Ollie’s core values of caring, value obsession, commitment, growth, and being real in all interactions with both customers and associates.
• Executes merchandising, store standards, seasonal planning, and inventory processes to meet operational goals and expectations.
• Acts as a talent grower by coaching, training, developing, evaluating, supervising, and scheduling store associates to meet business needs and budget constraints.
• Maintains store security and ensures proper handling of company assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Safe working conditions.
