Retail Store Manager

About the role

A Retail Store Manager at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet leads the successful operation of the entire store, focusing on financial oversight, customer and associate service, merchandising, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial oversight of sales and profit goals, including management of payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other key company initiatives.
• Demonstrates Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences.
• Executes on company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes to meet operational goals and expectations.
• Acts as a “talent grower” by providing coaching, training, development, evaluation, supervision, and scheduling of store associates.
• Maintains proper security of the store location and all company assets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holiday seasons on a regular basis.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Work in a safe manner.
