About the role
Ollie’s Retail Store Manager leads the successful operation of the entire store, focusing on financial oversight, customer and associate service, merchandising, and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Provides financial oversight of sales and profit goals, including management of payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other key company initiatives.
- Demonstrates Ollie’s core values through exceptional customer and associate service experiences, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Executes company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transitions, and inventory processes to meet operational goals and expectations.
- Acts as a “talent grower” by coaching, training, developing, evaluating, supervising, and scheduling store associates to meet business needs and staffing budgets.
- Maintains store security and asset protection.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Safe working environment.
