We are seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead our team, drive profitability, and create a customer-centric environment. This role offers a competitive hourly wage plus a lucrative monthly bonus based on store performance.
Pay
$17.00 to $22.40 per hour, plus a monthly bonus based on store gross profit.

Schedule
- Most stores open at 9 AM and close at 6 PM; many are closed on Sundays.
- Store Managers work 45+ hours per week, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, lead and develop store employees, and drive financial performance. This role requires a hands-on approach to customer service, asset protection, and team leadership. You will work with a diverse range of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms (in FFL locations).
Responsibilities
- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Train and develop Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including cash drawer counts, merchandise management, and asset protection procedures.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and enterprise-level reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through goal-setting and communication.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity.
- Complete assigned training and development tasks.
- Communicate store mission and profit objectives clearly to employees.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and 45+ hours per week based on business needs.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
