Maintain Store Standards

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store which includes maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.

Customer Service

Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for.

Cleaning Duties

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Deep cleans key areas of the store including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.

Supervisory Tasks

• Keeps cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
• Notifies supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
• Sets out to areas requiring cleaning.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.

Compliance and Policies

• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Maintains positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization’s vision and values.
• Projects a positive image and serves as a role model for other Team Members.

Other Duties

• Provides a fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Executes cash handling to standards.
• Affords customers the benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completes enrollments.
• Engages customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completes enrollments.
• Assists with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Supports shrink and safety programs.
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; executes Company policies and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting taking care of our customers; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
• Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Preferred Type of experience the job requires: Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.

Pay and Benefits

• Total Base Pay Range For This Position: $14.00 - $16.20.
• This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.
