Retail Store Associate (Seasonal)
About the role
The ideal Store Associate should be passionate about sales, delivering exceptional service, and driving operational excellence. The primary responsibilities include supporting a positive customer-centric experience, maintaining store and print department appearance, adhering to standards, following sorting and stocking guidelines, ensuring freight processes are completed, scanning and investigating inventory lows and outs daily, developing personal selling skills and product knowledge, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
- Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services.
- Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
- Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
- Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
- Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes.
- Safeguards the freight sorting area and ensures it is organized and set up according to guidelines.
- Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily.
- Works to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided, including successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and supports the company’s loss prevention efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
No previous experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Education and experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, are necessary. Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory is also required. Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers are essential. Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment is a must.
Qualifications
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
