About the Role

As a Wild Fork Team Member, your focus is to deliver a memorable experience to all of our guests. You will be trained to be a personal chef and friendly butcher, developing the highest level of product knowledge to provide customers with recommendations on their favorite dishes or proteins. You will ensure proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability, replenish low stock items, pick and pack online orders, and deliver a friendly check-out experience. Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador – enthusiastic and passionate about our quality products, educating consumers on what Wild Fork Foods stands for.
• Become a product and culinary expert by giving total effort during training classes to provide great recipes and cooking tips.
• Provide a butcher-friendly shopping experience by personalizing every step of the customer’s journey.
• Assist customers during the check-out process and deliver an experience to remember.
• Perform stocking duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs, rotating products, ordering, dusting, and cleaning the store.
• Oversee daily price changes and manage the cash register as required.
• Process customer e-commerce orders and ensure timely product handout for deliveries.
• Work in an extremely cold environment, including pulling racks, processing shipments, and performing monthly inventory in our walk-in freezer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, such as walk-in freezers.
• Stand or walk for up to 8-10 hours.
• Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people by showing interest and carefully listening to their needs.
• Work with integrity as a team toward a shared vision.
• Be determined and deliver superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization.
