The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role supports our mission to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Handle cash transactions and manage customer returns and exchanges according to policy.
• Communicate effectively with donors to ensure donations are accepted and processed correctly.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $14.00 to $18.45 per hour, depending on job duties and position.
