About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory, including sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
• Handle cash transactions and manage customer returns and exchanges.
• Communicate effectively with donors to facilitate donations and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and support each other during busy periods.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by Savers University.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.40 per hour, depending on job duties and position.

Schedule

Shifts may vary based on store needs, typically ranging from 6 to 12 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.
