About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory, including sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
- Handle cash transactions and manage customer returns and exchanges.
- Communicate effectively with donors to facilitate donations and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Support team members through training and mentorship.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
