About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory by sorting, tagging, and pricing items to prepare them for sale.
• Handle donations by accepting and processing items from customers and donors.
• Support team members by assisting with tasks and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to the store's success by maintaining a clean and organized store space.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills to use point-of-sale systems and other store technology.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
