At Savers / Value Village our Retail Store Associates create an awesome experience for our Customers, Donors and other Team Members.
We are hiring for both Full Time and Part Time Retail Store Associates.
About the Role
Our Retail Store Associates play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for customers, donors, and fellow team members. They are responsible for ensuring that each customer feels valued and appreciated, while also maintaining a clean and organized store space.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure their shopping experience is memorable.
- Assist customers in finding items they need and answer any questions they may have.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain a tidy store environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and follow all financial policies.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
