About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively and in good condition.
• Handle donations, sorting and accepting gently-used items from the community.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Support the store's fundraising efforts and participate in community events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of thrift store operations and policies.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
