About the role
The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available full-time and part-time.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively and in good condition.
- Handle donations, sorting and accepting gently-used items from the community.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Support the store's fundraising efforts and participate in community events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
