Retail Stocking Supervisor

About the role

The Retail Stocking Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily stocking activities, including receiving shipments, organizing backroom inventory, and ensuring merchandise is accurately and efficiently stocked on the sales floor.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized aisles and displays.
• Support inventory accuracy through regular counts.
• Assist with signage and pricing updates.
• Guide and coach stocking team members, assign tasks, monitor productivity, and collaborate with store leadership to meet merchandising and operational goals.
• Support excellent customer service by ensuring products are easy to find, assisting customers with locating items, and responding to store needs as they arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail stocking, merchandising, or inventory management, with the ability to organize and maintain backroom and sales floor inventory effectively.
• Supervisory or lead experience in a retail or similar environment, including assigning tasks, providing feedback, and supporting team performance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and safely operate basic stocking equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for handling counts, pricing, labeling, and documentation accurately.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, support store leadership, and assist customers professionally.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Previous retail or hardware/tool store experience is beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store needs.
