Retail Specialist - Part Time

About the role

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking a Part‑Time Retail Specialist to join a 30‑year iconic brand dedicated to well‑being. The role supports merchandising, inventory, and store presentation while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a wellness‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with merchandising and maintaining store presentation standards.
• Replenish inventory and receive merchandise.
• Support operational excellence throughout the boutique.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of retail experience.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building meaningful relationships.
• Strong ability to recommend products and provide personalized solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn retail point‑of‑sale systems.
• Ability to learn and maintain high product knowledge across retail categories.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 95% of the scheduled shift.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lb as needed.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail sales experience in a luxury or wellness environment.
• Experience with visual merchandising, receiving, inventory management, and stock replenishment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals through consultative selling and personalized guest interactions.
• Knowledge of wellness, lifestyle, apparel, spa, or gift products.
• Experience working with retail inventory and point‑of‑sale systems.
