Retail Specialist - Center Store

About the role

Empire Marketing Strategies is now hiring a Center Store - Retail Specialist in Craig, CO. We are a leader in delivering exceptional in-store execution for over 40 years, enhancing the customer experience in grocery retail. We partner with some of the world's top brands to optimize their presence in over 2,500 store locations.

Responsibilities

• Shelf Maintenance: Rotate product as required by manufacturer for perishable merchandise and conduct regular checks of store shelf tags.
• Product Analysis & Reporting: Maintain and update all territorial records, review sales reports, and report information through proper channels.
• Promotional Display Maintenance: Set up displays of manufacturer or client brands, coordinate promotional programs, and execute point-of-sale material and Instant Redeemable Coupons.
• Customer Support and Training: Establish and maintain rapport with store personnel, perform training demonstrations, and participate in company meetings.
• Other Administrative Duties: Timely communication, maintain territory files, and use MS Excel.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, 1-2 years of CPG/grocery/retail industry related experience preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to operate a motor vehicle, prolonged periods of standing, lifting up to 40-60 pounds, and regular use of hands.
• Skills/Abilities: Clear and concise writing, interpersonal and customer service skills, problem-solving, and basic math skills.

Pay

$31,875 to $51,000 per Year

Schedule

Flexible, M-F work schedule, 9 holidays off annually.
