Essential Job Functions
- Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc…).
- Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours (lunch, late-afternoons, evenings, weekends, etc.).
- Aid the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and making sure team members are staying current on their individual training.
- Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Aid the store manager in processing buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contacting customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Utilize the electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure.
- Aid the store manager in processing retail customer returns and exchanges in an efficient and friendly manner, issuing refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and processing or staging returned merchandise correctly.
- Aid the store manager in invoicing all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Aid the store manager in communicating Zipline messages, delegating and completing Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Aid the store manager in ensuring all team members are complying with company policies specifically; adhering to the posted work schedule, changes/deviations are being approved by a member of management, and team members are clocking in/out accordingly.
- Aid the store manager in performing all store opening/closing duties, including performing day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits according to company policy, preparing bank deposits as needed, ensuring all night security lights are on, locking doors and securing building, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking/securing/locking delivery vehicle(s) parked in a secure designated area.
- Aid the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.

- RSS Certification
- Certified Parts Professional Certification (Desired)
