Shortage Control Associate (SCA)

• Directly impacts store's security and customer shopping experience
• Maintain a professional appearance, wear designated dress standards, and carry radio and earpiece
• Stand at the front of the store, remain vigilant, and greet every customer with a warm smile and loud, friendly greeting
• Reduce opportunities for theft, shoplifting, and other dishonest activities
• Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious subjects to Manager on Duty

Experience and Responsibilities

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, visually monitor store environment, maintain confidentiality, review and analyze business trends, exhibit a positive demeanor, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills to foster productive business relationships
• Flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and expertise in store shortage reduction programs
• Effective communication with customers and co-workers
• Support training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes
• Model safety as a top priority and address any unsafe practices promptly

Pay

Base Pay: $13.50 per hour - $13.50 per hour

Schedule

Part-time associates, based on hours worked, may be eligible for Burlington's benefits package which includes medical coverage and a 401(k) plan. Part-time associates may also be eligible for up to 4 hours of paid time off annually after one year of service, up to 8 paid holidays, and paid sick time in accordance with applicable law.
