Joining the Team

Contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service as a Shortage Control Associate (SCA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional appearance and wear designated dress standards, radio, and earpiece.
  • Stand at the front of the store, remain vigilant, and be aware of your surroundings.
  • Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting.
  • Reduce opportunities for theft, shoplifting, and other dishonest activities by monitoring the entrance throughout shifts.
  • Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
  • Support training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
  • Model safety as a top priority and address any unsafe practices promptly.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and visually monitor the store environment.
  • Confidentiality maintained.
  • Review, analyze, and comprehend business trends.
  • Positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
  • Disciplined decision-making and excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
  • Strong leadership skills to foster productive business relationships.
