Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with courtesy and a smile
• Grow personal sales by hitting minimum goals and providing an exceptional customer experience
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits
• Engage in conversations with customers to assist them in making purchasing decisions
• Demonstrate a passion for products and showcase them effectively
• Attend and participate in Scheels product training and store meetings
• Maintain a professional appearance and assist with other assigned duties
• Perform basic math calculations, read and understand simple instructions, and write simple correspondence
• Communicate effectively in one-on-one and group settings with customers and colleagues
• Show strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Help with freight and stocking as needed

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

• Heavy work: Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Physical demands: Sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear
