About the role

Boscov’s Shoe Sales Associate is a dynamic position within America’s largest family-owned department store. This role involves engaging with customers, setting and achieving sales goals, and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals
• Meet and exceed customer expectations by retrieving requested shoes from stockroom area and recommending additional items based on customer needs
• Educate customers on product
• Work as a team player to ensure every customer’s needs are met
• Daily department maintenance tasks such as merchandising, display, and ticketing
• Assist with stock room maintenance when not assisting customers
• Help to fulfill customer internet orders

Requirements

• Enjoys working with people
• Approachable, courteous, and patient
• Able to multi-task, helping more than one customer at a time when needed
• Entrepreneurial drive to succeed in a commission-based environment
• Fast-paced position requiring physical movement, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders and/or stairs
• Available to work varied days and hours as schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
