Retail Scan Associate (Winchester, VA 22601)

About the role

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

This is a permanent part-time role offering workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

Responsibilities

• Scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps
• Provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store every week
• Participate in Custom Projects that occur almost every week, adding 1 to 2 hours of work per store
• Adhere to weekly deadlines for data delivery

Route & Store Type

• Grocery Store – Winchester, VA 22601 – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
• Mass Retailer – Winchester, VA 22603 – Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi
• Must be tech savvy
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
