About the role

This is a permanent PART‑TIME role. ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store). Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers each week to scan all product barcodes on displays, aisle locations, and end caps.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store.
• Provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete display scanning of the entire store each week, which can take several hours.
• Undertake custom projects (additional product details) almost every week, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain dependability and quality‑driven action.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and tech‑savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Schedule

• Average base hours: 5–10 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload.
• Additional hours: typically 1–2 hours per week per store for special projects, with higher demand from January through June.

  • Drug Store – Wappingers Falls, NY 12590: Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
  • Club Store – Wappingers Falls, NY 12590: Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
  • Grocery Store – Wappingers Falls, NY 12590: Wednesday or Thursday
  • Grocery Store – Patterson, NY 12563: Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
