Retail Scan Associate * (PINE BLUFF, AR 71603)

Job Summary

This is a permanent part-time position with base hours averaging from 1-3 hours per week across all stores, with additional hours assigned for special projects throughout the year, typically 1–2 hours per week per store.

About the role

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes.
• Collect data on about 45% of the products scanned, providing quantities as requested.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store, which can take several hours to finish.
• Occasionally perform Custom Projects, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for each store.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines to ensure timely delivery of data to clients.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure long periods on your feet and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and perform repetitive movements for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi and tech-savvy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
