Retail Scan Associate (MADISON WI 53715)

Schedule

Permanent part‑time role. Base hours average 4–8 hours per week across all stores, varying by store size and workload. Additional 1–2 hours per week per store may be assigned for special projects, with higher demand January through June. Available workdays and store types include convenience, drug, and grocery locations in Madison, WI (53713, 53715, 53719) and Monona, WI (53716) on various weekdays. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays, aisle locations, and end caps.
• Use a mobile app to record barcode data and provide quantity information for approximately 45 % of scanned products.
• Complete store‑wide display scanning within weekly deadlines.
• Perform “Custom Projects” that require additional product detail collection, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store.
• Maintain accuracy and quality of data for client use.
• Travel to stores using a reliable vehicle and submit data on time.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto‑insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods, lift up to 25 lb, reach 6 ft, and bend/stoop/stretch.
• Capability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and leg movements for prolonged periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter with reliable Wi‑Fi and tech‑savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Pay

Competitive compensation of $15–$16 per hour.
