About the role

This is a permanent PART‑TIME position as a Retail Scan Associate for ScanScape. You will visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations—including aisle end caps—using a downloadable app on your mobile phone. The data collected is analyzed to improve sales performance for the product and retailer. The role offers workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, job consistency, and involves continuous physical activity throughout the shift. Responsibilities

• Scan all product barcodes on displays, aisle locations, and end caps each week.
• Use a mobile app to capture barcode data and report the quantity for approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete full store display scanning weekly, which can take several hours.
• Undertake Custom Projects (additional product detail requests) that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store most weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and demonstrate dependability and quality‑driven work.
• Work with a variety of store types (grocery, convenience, drug, pet, mass merchandise) and major retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, as well as independent stores.
• Maintain reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech‑savvy.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle meeting state auto insurance requirements.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb, reach 6 ft high, and bend, stretch, stoop, or stand as needed.
• Capable of performing repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi access and tech‑savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
