Retail Scan Associate (Campbellsville, KY 42718)

This is a permanent part-time position averaging 4–6 hours per week across all stores, with additional hours (typically 1–2 hours per week per store) assigned for special projects, especially from January through June.

About the role

As a Retail Scan Associate, you’ll perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Store types include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores, working with major brands like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and other national chains, as well as small independent retailers.

Using a downloadable app on your mobile phone, you’ll scan barcodes in numerous store locations and provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned stores within weekly deadlines.
• Complete Display Scanning for the entire store each week, which may take several hours.
• Perform Custom Projects—additional weekly tasks requested by clients that add 1–2 hours of work per store.
• Adhere to strict weekly deadlines to ensure data quality and reliability.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi-Fi access.
• Tech-savvy with a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
