Retail Sales - Women's Apparel - The Mall at Green Hills

We’re looking for a Salesperson who is passionate about fashion and styling and can cultivate and grow a customer following, both digitally and in-store.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using effective selling tools (including text and social media)
• Build lasting relationships with customers
• Provide exceptional service tailored to each customer’s needs
• Offer honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit
• Develop fashion and product expertise
• Maintain a customer-ready department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, handling price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Collaborate with the team to meet department goals
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above the head
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay

The hourly pay range is $13.60 - $13.60, with commission opportunities based on the merchandise sold. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically earn commissions ranging from 3% to 14.5%, while Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically earn a 3% commission. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.
