Retail Sales Travel Specialist (West Hartford, CT)

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with travel services and products
• Aid customers through TSA Precheck, passport photo services, and background checks
• Offer services such as those for federal or state programs, varying by store
• Assist with identity-related products and services related to travel
• Sell and present products and solutions to meet customer needs
• Greet and provide a welcoming experience to all customers
• Verify customer identity, scan documents, take passport photos, and complete biometric and data capture processes
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot retail equipment
• Support other areas of the store during onboarding period
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen
• Flexible to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to operate a keyboard and other office equipment
• One year of customer service-related experience
• Capable of working in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to manage conflict in a cooperative manner
• Honest and trustworthy regarding customer and business information
• Able to lift/move materials up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand, and walk continuously
