About the Role

Tuned Up Gunstock Mountain Resort is hiring a Seasonal, onsite Retail Sales Support teammate in Gilford, NH to keep our ski & sport shop running smoothly as winter ramps up. This entry-level role ensures the floor stays organized, product is ready to sell, and guests receive quick, friendly help when gearing up.

Responsibilities

• Support store operations, including receiving shipments, opening boxes, and sorting items.
• Maintain accurate product presentation by keeping shelves and displays organized and visually appealing.
• Re-fold, re-face, and restock merchandise to ensure guests can easily find what they need.
• Assist guests with purchases by operating the register and keeping lines moving during busy periods.
• Tidy and restock the shop between rushes to prepare for peak times as the season progresses.

Your Shift Flow

You'll clock in, check new arrivals, and jump into receiving—opening boxes, sorting items, and getting product where it needs to be. As the shop gets busier, you'll keep displays looking sharp, adjust merchandise for easy access, and assist guests at the register to keep lines moving. Between rushes, you'll tidy, restock, and prep for the next wave of customers.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort assisting a steady flow of guests.
• Attention to detail and pride in keeping the store organized.
• Ability to learn and use a point-of-sale system.
• Schedule starts with a couple of days per week (e.g., Wed/Thu or Wed/Fri) and builds toward ~35 hours/week; weekend availability is required once winter hits.
