Retail Sales Supervisor - Full Time, Lenox Square

About the Role

As a Sales Supervisor, you will assist the Store Manager with all aspects of day-to-day store operations, including sales, customer service, recruiting, training, profits, and maintaining store standards. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, you will supervise and manage all store personnel, enforce company policies, and ensure operational excellence. Your role is key to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving the continued success of our brand.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall store success by ensuring sales goals are met while achieving individual sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by styling and wardrobing customers based on their needs.
• Set the example for customer engagement that exceeds industry standards.
• Build client relationships and drive sales through client outreach and brand excitement.
• Assist with training, coaching, and motivating associates to maximize sales productivity.
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in leading the store team, including enforcing company culture, operations, and policies.
• Manage payroll and ensure proper coverage based on business needs.
• Execute directives from Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing, and communicate deliverables to the store team.
• Address employee relations, compliance matters, and personal skill development with the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Represent the brand and ensure team members embody it in all customer and peer interactions.
• Enforce Loss Prevention policies and assist with financial/sales audits and inventories to prevent internal and external shortage.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail and/or customer service, with at least 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet performance expectations and operate efficiently under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to operate a cash register while following cash handling procedures.
• High level of initiative and self-motivation.

Special Physical and Mental Requirements

• Repetitive hand motion while operating a cash register or computer.
• Regular interaction with the public in a crowded and noisy store environment.
• Standing required for the entire work shift.
• Ability to operate office equipment (computers, phones, fax, scanner, copier).
• Must work weekend and night shifts.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds.
