Retail Sales Specialist - Yardbird Outdoor Furniture

About the role

You’ll engage with customers to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth and achieve sales goals. You’ll stay informed about the latest industry trends and products through continuous learning and professional development. You’ll also stay current on promotional initiatives to generate sales through high traffic times. You’ll embrace our learning culture to continuously improve existing skills while acquiring new ones. You’ll maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers. You’ll train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1 year of experience in sales, customer service or related fields
• Able to work successfully as part of a team
• Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in the furniture industry
• Luxury brand or other premium product retail or design experience

Skills

Basic sales and customer service skills, ability to learn and adapt to new products and trends, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage time effectively, flexibility to work a variety of shifts, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
