Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet all customers as they enter the store and thank them as they are leaving
- Demonstrate friendliness and cheerfulness to customers and co-workers
- Mercandising of the department to company standards
- Ensure every item has a SKU and is priced
- Set ad merchandise in accordance with promotional guidelines
- Ensure price changes are completed as directed by BPM
- Execute merchandising plans as directed by BPM or store leadership
- Receive shipments as needed in the department
- Stock freight and ensure adequate amounts of merchandise available
- Assist cashiers and perform cashiering functions as needed
- Ensure a clean and safe working and shopping environment throughout the department
- Communicate with location management and department personnel daily
- Ensure that signing, displays, and safety concerns are addressed and corrected
- Conduct regular cycle counts of merchandise in accordance with cycle count schedules in the department
- Negative on hands completed daily
- Plant dumps completed weekly
- Help inventory counting at other departments or locations as needed

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
