Responsibilities
- Provide quality internal and external customer service, representing Vyve in a consistently courteous and professional manner
- Resolve simple and complex customer issues
- Demonstrate a strong passion for selling Vyve products and services
- Meet and exceed monthly revenue sales targets
- Generate and maintain departmental reports as required
- Serve as a mentor to other team members, providing instruction, support, and direction
- Initiate contact with customers to sell, resolve problems, answer questions, send correspondence, and generate reports
- Accurately explain bills, company policies, and procedures concerning prices, billing, and service
- Determine customer needs and educate customers to sell or upgrade services
- Accurately document all sales/order activity via an online database system
- Process customer payments accurately and balance daily transactions according to established cash management procedures
- Collect delinquent accounts
- Demonstrate integrity while accessing customer databases or paper reference material to locate customer records and research account history
- Issue, receive, and maintain records of customer-premise equipment
- Troubleshoot service-related problems with customers and test customer-premise equipment
- Contact customers regarding company services, including outbound calls about bills and promotions
- Exercise positive and cooperative behavior that promotes teamwork
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to travel as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years in customer service and/or sales industry, with phone or face-to-face consumer contact
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple computer applications to assist customers
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with PCs, Microsoft Office Suite, and general intranet navigation
- Ability to type 35 words per minute
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual preferred
