About the Role

Bonobos is seeking a Lead Guide (Retail Sales Leader) for our Maryland Plaza Guideshop. The Lead Guide is customer-obsessed, fit-focused, incentive-driven, and a sales powerhouse. This role uses product expertise to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a unique, appointment-based retail setting. Our assortment includes a full wardrobe of better-fitting men’s clothing for every occasion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and maximize personal sales results.
• Coach Guides during scheduled shifts to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Execute closing and opening Guideshop duties as assigned.
• Act as the leader and take on management responsibilities when the Guideshop Manager is not available.
• Support expense budget, payroll control, and procedural compliance for the Guideshop.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of retail or sales experience in a leadership capacity or relevant experience.
• Proven ability to consistently achieve personal and overall store sales goals.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of men’s fashion, fabrics, styles, and fit.

• Passion for learning about men’s fashion, fabrics, styles, and fit.
• Ability to cultivate an environment where customers and associates feel welcome and valued.
• Enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring a team, leading by example.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and confident in networking and generating leads.
