About the role
The Retail Sales Lead plays a crucial role in driving sales and KPI performance, inspiring and coaching the sales team to excel in customer service and product knowledge. This position requires a blend of leadership skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and a genuine passion for cooking, baking, and entertaining.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and KPI performance through active coaching and acting as Manager-on-Duty
- Foster strong partnerships with the sales team and leadership
- Role model selling behaviors and build customer loyalty through personalized service
- Share expertise in cooking, baking, and entertaining
- Oversee daily operations including cash handling, merchandising, inventory control, and adapt to changing business needs
Requirements
- Prior retail sales and supervisory experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
- Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Authentic passion around cooking, baking, and entertaining
Qualifications
