Pay

The base pay for this position is $22.25 per hour.

Schedule

40 hours per week. Store hours are Monday - Saturday 10am - 8pm and Sunday 11am - 7pm. Employee shifts may include two hours before or after store hours. Schedules are provided a minimum of 2 weeks in advance, with opportunities to trade shifts with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and create a best-in-class customer experience as an authentic brand ambassador, connecting customers with Wayfair’s online home assortment in-store.
• Master and share Wayfair’s brand story through polished communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
• Maintain leadership presence through effective floor management and resource allocation.
• Deliver on sales and service KPIs, productivity standards, and profitability goals across all omnichannel platforms using best-in-class selling standards.
• Amplify the Wayfair brand by contributing to a high-performing, customer-centric team.
• Manage and monitor stock levels, merchandise adjacencies, presentations, signing, and assortment to ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked and meets visual standards.
• Maintain visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house standards during floor leadership shifts.
• Utilize sales analytics tools to drive store profitability, traffic, loyalty, and growth.
• Perform opening and closing routines, including supervision to ensure financial goals and customer service standards are met.
• Master selling essentials and training resources to educate the team on Wayfair’s product assortment.
• Participate in operational store activities such as bringing new products to the floor, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions, and general store upkeep.
• Engage in a high-energy, dynamic work environment with rapid changes in products, promotions, offerings, and operations.
• Live by, emulate, and guide the team using Wayfair’s People Principles daily.
• As Keyholder, open and close the store.

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership or experience managing a team.
• Brick-and-mortar retail experience in furniture or home goods preferred.
• Track record of thriving in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Technical acumen to learn necessary software; experience with Google Cloud G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms) preferred.
• Ability to perform constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
