About the role

A day in the life...

• Engage and create relationships with customers in a setting inspired by Hawaii’s vibrant fashion and unique culture.
• Drive your earnings by achieving sales goals through styling and curating content on digital platforms (inclusive of text and social media).
• Be part of a supportive team that works together to keep the department customer-ready, which includes filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
• This role may require flexibility to occasionally perform work/duties in a department other than the one you were hired into.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (Stock/Logistics Only).

Pay

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state-specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

• Hourly pay range: $16.25 - $16.25.
• Commission: Most selling employees receive commission that varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive 3%.
